Nuestras Memorias

Learn more about Wickenburg’s Hispanic pioneer families in “Nuestras Memorias: Our Memories” by Julia Macias Brooks. Books can be purchased in the Chamber office for $25.00 or shipped to you with a $7.00 shipping fee. Contact the Chamber at (928) 684-5479.

Hassayampa River Reserve

Situated southeast of Wickenburg on Highway 60 is the Hassayampa River Preserve. With over 700 acres of lush green habitat alongside the Hassayampa River, it’s certainly a desert oasis. Enjoy several hikes through native desert plants and witness a variety of wildlife, including close to 300 bird species that reside within the preserve.

Summer Hours (05/07 - 10/08):

  • Wed - Sun, 7 AM to 4:00 PM

Winter Hours (10/09 - 5/06):

  • Wed - Sun, 8 AM to 5:30 PM

Directions: From Wickenburg, head southeast on US 60 89. The Preserve entrance is approximately 3.5 miles on US 60 89 on the right-hand side of the road.
