ACe_logo 2The 2016 Legislative Agenda for Arizona Business has been published and distributed in the first few weeks of January. This annual agenda provides an opportunity for Arizona chambers to work together on local, state and federal issues of great importance to the business community. With great success the 2016 agenda had over forty chambers endorsement.

This year the agenda focuses on important key areas of education, taxation, transportation, infrastructure and quality of life. The legislative agenda is useful for many reasons. It can be used a tool for chambers to show how they are advocating for their members at the legislature alongside other chambers of commerce.

This agenda also provides the framework for the ACE Local Chambers Call which will start on January 15.  The purpose of the weekly calls to update chambers on what is happening at the legislature. Various bills are tracked and dis-cussed providing important information for the chamber executives to educate their members. This living document is reviewed and updated every year to keep it relevant, fresh and valuable.

The Wickenburg Chamber Board of Directors adopted this agenda in November as one of 40 chambers in Arizona.
